DT Michelle's Altered Canvas. I used textured Magic for the snowflake background, and added stickles and paint over the top. Glass glitter for the small heart, and some ink through out the canvas! I embossed the canvas heart and used a gelato in gold for the color.
Permalink Reply by Cheryl Caldwell-Nyboer DT on December 11, 2011 at 6:37am @Margie, I love your altered notebook. The white ball fringe is adorable and I love the little gingerbread man turning the edge of the page up. Very pretty and the tag is a extra-special touch!
@Michelle, your altered canvas is gorgeous! Love how you textured the background and then added Stickles and Paint over the top. Adorable "wintery" photograph and the frosted twigs add just the finishing touch!
This is for Mondays Post!!
Here's my altered project. I altered a Ball jar and used patterned paper, cardstock stickers the "Christmas Sayings", and rick rack to cover the jar. I also used a circle of the patterned paper to cover the lid. I made 3 tags from stickers and matted then on cardstock, then punched holes in them. I used green and white bakers twine for the tags. I finished with one piece of rick rack and one piece of ribbon around the mouth of the jar.
I filled the altered jar with Hershey Kisses and it will be one of my sister's Christmas gifts. She LOVES Hershey Kisses!
