Hi ladies!  This is such an awesome sketch and we can't wait to see your "takes" on it!!  Here's my layout.  It's my mom and I took the picture at the nursing home Christmas party.  Mom was the first one to sit on Santa's lap!  He even stopped and kissed her on the way out.  She LOVED that.  Sadly, Mom has Alzheimers and we are sad that we had to have somebody else take care of her, but she's happy.  This layout will be a wonderful Christmas memory for me.  Hope you like my layout.

What a precious picture!!

Love your LO!!

Thanks, Michelle!  Mom really had a good time at the party!!

Really special layout Cheryl.  Your mom looks very happy sitting there on Santa's lap!! lol  I love we both scrapped photos of someone on Santa's lap!!  And used the word "believe" on our layout.  Neat!

What a special event to scrap.  :)  I really love that blue with the red and white.

Hello everyone, here is the layout I made with this fab sketch from Moma!!  I decided to scrap a photo of my kids from their annual trip to see Santa.  I used paper from a paper pad by Recollections - Warm Wishes (love it!!)  I had so much fun making this layout!  I was able to use some of my new Martha Stewart punches.  (love them too!!)  I fussy cut the ornament and the mittens out of a couple of sheets in the pad.  I added bakers twine to my mitten banner, I went crazy with brads and I even managed to sneak in some hidden journaling.  I hope it helps inspire you to join in this challenge.

Stacy:  I love that you went crazy with the brads and punches.  Your layout turned out wonderful!

For my LO sample, I decided to scrap a Christmas family photo taken in 1991. errr not yet done with scrapping past family photos . . . but I'm getting there. ;-)

JOURNALING:  I was in college and my young sis was in highschool when the photo was taken in 1991.  In those days, high waisted jeans were the fad.  You just need to wear them with a belt.  Thus, we siblings went for the fad in this Christmas photo. My mom not to be outdone, chose to wear a thick width or wide belt with her red Xmas outfit.  My sis and I both agree that we look embarrassing in the photo if it were of this time and age.

Great layout Kath!  I think you guys look perfect!  I love the colors used and that scroll is just wonderful.

Thanks, Stacy!  Yes, that is cool that we both used the word "believe" and I love all the beautiful kids with Santa!!  Great layout!!!

Kath, I love your layout, too!  Your picture is wonderful!!

Here's Jennifer's layout.  She used the sketch to scrap her daughter's layout.

What a darling picture, Jen!  I LOVE your flower and all the bling!
