welcome to S4all....a place to scrap and meet friends.
I told you that I was going to have a challenge that you were going to like. Not only are you going to like it - it's easy and it's something that all of us need, especially around this time of year.
How would you like to turn your left over odds and ends and scraps from looking like this:
and this:
Into looking like this: ("SMALL & CUTE" gift enclosure cards.)
Or these?
These are 3" x 3" cards and I make them all the time. They're wonderful little gift enclosures and I have also punched a hole in the corner, tied a ribbon through them and hung them from a gift bag. They're SO versitile that I even hung a few of my favorites on my tree last year. But I digress. LOL
The reason I LOVE making these is because you can make them TOTALLY out of your scrap stash. All you need is cardstock that measures 3" x 6". I know I have tons of pieces of cardstock that falls into this size range, Fold the 3x6 piece of cardstock in half and voila! you have a 3 x 3 card.
I usually add a 3" x 3" piece of patterned paper to the cardstock front and decorate as desired. You can honestly just dig in your stash to make these anytime of the year.
My challenge to you is to make at least 1 set (a set can by 2 or 3 or 4 - you might as well make a few while you're making them, right? They're terribly addictive - I promise! I hate to be without these little cuties and the recipient loves them!
Please post your little cards right here in this thread. If you want to post them in the gallery, tag them CCCG#5. With Christmas just around the corner I thought that you would all enjoy a challenge for gift enclosures.
We'd love to see as many cards as you want to show us, but you'll only be entered for the RAK 1 time per participant.
I can't wait to see all of your creations!!
This challenge ends on December 31st at midnight, EST.

Permalink Reply by Jenny Jean on December 2, 2011 at 3:35am Hi Cheryl! Here is my take on your Small & Cute Gift Enclosures challenge. :)
I couldn't take a decent photo of the three together, so I took individual shots and just did some editing to get the photos together in a strip.
As you have suggested, I made them the size of 3"x3". And they are too cute!
I hope you like it! :)
